Originally from Athens, Georgia, Christy attended Georgia State University where she obtained a BBA in Finance. She started her real estate career in south Georgia selling large tracts of land, commercial/investment property, and residential property. She also managed both commercial and residential investment properties. In 2003 Christy returned home to Athens to practice real estate sales. Christy obtained her broker’s license in 2005. Christy has served as a member of the Athens Women in Business, the Athens Clarke County Mentor Program, and the Jeannette Rankin Committee. She currently volunteers at The Athens Food Bank. In 2010 Christy was awarded the Good Neighbor Award by both the Athens Association of Realtors and the Georgia Association or Realtors.
Christy manages the property management division of CJandL. She often assists owners and investors in the leasing and selling of their property. She has repeatedly leased multiple properties for investors and managed said properties long enough to establish a solid rental history, aiding in the sale of the property. She also enjoys working with owners for whom she currently manages property in the purchase of new properties for their portfolios.
Christy, her husband Terry and their three children reside in Kingswood, an older, well established, west Athens neighborhood. She serves on the HOA of her neighborhood and is proud to stay informed of community affairs. She has an understanding of Athens Clarke County unmatched by agents who have not lived in Athens most of their lives.
